Joining Weekend

Joining weekend is the best way to make the connection at Hope.

The weekend is divided into two segments: one Saturday morning, and one Sunday afternoon. The Saturday morning we call Introducing Hope. In that Seminar, Pastor McColm delves into what makes Hope Church the special and unique church that it is. During this time you'll see what Hope's vision is, what it's mission is, and learn what are its distinctive beliefs. The morning concludes with an overview of the various ministries at Hope, and then a chance to ask questions.

Membership Seminar

For those of you who have come to Introducing Hope Seminar, and feel God leading you to join Hope Church, we have the Membership Seminar. This is the second part of Joining Weekend.

Just like with any organization, there are membership vows - commitments - that you make to be a member. Hope Church is part of a denomination that has seven commitments for its members. We cover what those commitments are at the Membership Seminar.

We also believe that Hope should make some commitments to its members. Knowing that the church promises before God to do certain things for its members goes a long way in communicating our concern for those whom God has brought to us.

This seminar is an hour and a half in length, and occurs on Sunday afternoons, 4 - 5.30p.m.

*For those who have gone through the Membership Seminar, and desire to join Hope Church, please download the Member Profile and fill it out. Mail it to Hope Church, or give it to Pastor Gentry at least ONE WEEK before your meeting with our Elders.
