What We Do
Worship
Jesus once told a woman that God the Father was seeking those who would "worship him in spirit and truth" (John 4.23-24). We were made for God, and so worship of God is our highest calling and greatest privilege. It is amazing how our lives begin to find focus and purpose when we begin to center on God, and revel in his majestic wonder.

At Hope Church, we gather each Sunday morning to revel in God's unique wonder: the wonder of a God who both King and friend. Our worship blends traditional elements with modern expressions of our faith. You'll celebrate God through some of the great songs of the faith, as well as some of the newest songs of praise.

Ministry
Our Vision is to move out to the communities where we live, work, play, and worship. That kind of outward focus does not come naturally to us. Jesus said that it is better to give than to receive (Acts 20.35); naturally we would prefer to receive! But the blessed, happy life is one that is centered on serving (ministering) to others.

At Hope Church we say there is one pastor, and several ministers! That is, we seek to empower believers to engage in serving where they live, work, play and worship. That's where real life impact is found. It's no wonder, then, that Hope folks are finding and living with so much purpose, satisfaction, and assurance in life!

Prayer
Some have defined prayer as conversation with God. I like to say prayer is talking to God about God, others, and myself. That is essentially what we do when we pray. The Apostle Paul probably put it best when he said to "continue steadfastly in prayer" (Colossians 4.2). God has promised too much, and our needs are too great for us NOT to be continuous in prayer!

At Hope Church we seek to be a prayer conscious people. We believe that God is moved by our intense, prayerful longings after him. One of the reasons we are where we are as a young church is due to God answering the many prayers offered up on our behalf.

Teaching
Sometimes we really feel the need for a road map to life. Which way should we go? What should we pursue? How do we raise our kids? A whole bunch of questions surface that we honestly wish we could find answers to. God's Word is "profitable for teaching, correction, conviction, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3.16-17). So, it is perfectly reliable as a guide to God, and therefore to extreme happiness.

At Hope Church we teach from all parts of God's Word, the Bible. It has over the centuries shown itself to be helpful and reliable. The sunday messages will feed you with solid food from the Bible; our bible studies will equip you with answers for life. Our children as taught God's Word also, and we place a premium on kids memorizing verses and passages.

Fellowship
One of the hallmarks of the early church was their fellowship. Actually, the word means to share in common, to share a common life, to have a mutually helpful relationship. To look around fellowship with others in a common life is pretty much non-existent. Fellowship and friendship seem to many to be luxuries in otherwise over-worked lives. That is too bad!

At Hope Church, we value relationships. We recognize that it is through relationships with other believers that God has designed our spiritual maturity. No relationships, no growth! We have Friendship Groups that meet in homes weekly or bi-weekly; women's coffee talks, and even our children are encouraged to "hang out" with each other.
